I'm sitting home with a raging case of the flu so I thought I would start a thread on ILF rigs. I've only got one. It's a home made rig with home made limbs. I picked up for cheap several years ago. Great shooting bow albeit a little heavy. I get spoiled carrying a Thunderchild or some other little one piece. I haven't heard much from anybody these rigs. What are your thoughts? Any pics of your setups if you do like them?

I love my ILF rig. My riser is a Morrison 15" Wood Riser. Currently I have a couple pairs of ******** Blackmax limbs, great limbs for the money. I like begin able to mix and max different limbs and risers. Here's my current rig:

I have several risers and a bunch of different limbs. My favorite is my 17" Zipper with Dyrad Static recurve limbs. Makes a 62" bow @ 45# @ 29". It killed the bear in my avatar. ILF stuff is very good to mess around with different combos to see what works for your type of shooting. I like the options that are available.

Don't have one yet, but a machinist buddy is converting my old compound riser into an ILF riser and I bought a set of blackmax carbon wood core  limbs which should be here in 2 days. Also bought a plunger button and a magnetic flipper rest for this rig. Should be a sharp looking bow.

The blocks on the ends will come off. It's 21" end to end.

So Mr. Wilder, You're saying you like ILF?   :bigsmyl:

Not that this is a contest......lol. I have a 15" and 13" Morrison, 2 17" Zippers, a 13" Zipper, a 19" Dryad and a left hand 15" TT Recon just work my other side. Limbs from Hoyt, Dryad, TT. They are a lot of fun to mess with.

19" Titan with BlackMax limbs(3D), and a
25" Hoyt Horizon with Axiom limbs(target)
I still love my vintage, and custom bows, but ILF tune-ability is far superior. You can put together a combination to cover any style or need.

Last year I bought my first, a Win & Win Black Wolf.  Over 50 years of shooting bows, it's definitely one of the finest shooting bows I've owned.

I am just getting interested in ILF. Seems like a great system if a guy likes to "tinker". Will probably sell my Buffalo to help my new found addiction.

I got interested in an ILF rig as another venue of Trad archery. I have a converted C bow riser and a Hoyt Excel. I consider my "Warf" a knock around bow. It an'it pretty but it shoots good enough for me.

I have:
19" Tribute
Gen 2 DAS
DX5
Several Limbs- Uukha X curve, Centaur and RGS

Ive owned a few more. ILF/DAS are great for tuning and testing.Having said that if I had to own one bow it would be all wood.

OHtar

I have owned quite a few as well. Archery to me is a feel thing. I need to have the bow in hand for awhile before I can decide if it is for me. My newest is a 19" Hoyt Satori running 36# Uuhka limbs. I love to tinker with my bows so, ILF is perfect for me.

luv2bowhunt

Just got a 16" Morrison Metal ILF riser too... very nice!

I got into ILF with a Hoyt Horizon riser and some 34#cheap limbs.I told my friends this is last bow I will ever buy.(LOL-not)but I still have that Hoyt, endless choices of risers and limbs. If you find a riser you connect with the only money you will be spending will be on limbs.Limbs can be cheap or you can spend as much as a custom bow.I love the choices.
