Thanks for the information Steve, inside knowledge like that is something you just can't get from a google search. From all the research I've done getting to and from your hunting destination is where the bulk of your expense comes in. Hard to split gas when you have got to fly!!

It is now $500 plus the hunting license.  There was a fee increase this year for all Alaska licenses.  Seemed like every website had a thread going about it a few months ago.

No argument there. If I can hurry up and win the lottery I will hunt them all, it would be an awesome hunt the way Etter has it in mind. Alaska is a beautiful place from what the TV tells me, I have wanted to go for some time now. It just seems a little out of reach for the common man. Especially with the price of diapers and formula these days.
