I just scored a basically new Javaman Falcon from BigJim. It's 56" and 44# @ 28". I'm amped to get it, should be here by end of week! I owned an Elkheart shortly after I first started trad and really regretted selling it ever since. Can't wait for this one. Any comments on his Falcons?

Before anyone comments on the Falcons please remember this is a traditional archery site. LOL.  Never had a Falcon but have had 3 or 4 Shrews that Gregg built.  I wish I could find my Samurai again.... I am sure it will be great bow.

I had a 58" Falcon and loved it. Only sold it because of injure and lay-off at the same time; had to sell.
I hope to have another.

I just bought an Assyrian off Gregg down in K-Zoo. He had a few Falcon's there. Great bows. I myself really liked the Falcon XL he had there. Beautiful with a perfect grip. Perfect.   rat'

Fantastic! I am pretty sure that is my old bow, and has drawn blood. It is a sweet shooter, congrats!

Yup, that's the one. I had it for a couple of months to get me through deer season while I had a custom bow getting made. That falcon is amazing!

It was a really pretty bow, but unfortunately I had to send it back. The sepcs were listed incorrectly. JJ at BigJims was a pleasure to deal with through all of it though. I'll continue searching for another or an Elkheart!

It would be interesting to know what the problem was too.  I'd like to know what to look for to prevent having this problem in the future.

I should learn to read better. I now see it says the specs were 'listed incorrectly'. I once put up a bow for sale and typoed the description myself.

Maybe the length spec was off? I thought the Falcons were longer bows?  I like the looks of the Elkhart and helms deep myself  :)

What are the correct specs of this bow?

BigJim

I had a couple employees that were very good at click and paste but they wouldn't change the specs every time when they did that...JJ is finding this out the hard way as he is going through our used bow inventory.
The bow was listed as incorrect length and the draw weight was listed at 28 instead of the actual 30"s it was measured at.

We paid the shipping back. Sucks too as I already spent that money  :)
