Do people bring personal bows with the possibility of making trades at the show with other people? Or is that frowned upon?

jr1959

I think you need to leave them with Lonnie.  He will take your information and asking price and bottom dollar price.  All the bows are laid out on tables and he just asks for a small fee for selling it.  It works out well.

Nope, no swap area. This show is about vendors.

No trade area and carrying your bow around with a for sale sign is verboten, but if you put your bow on Lonnie's tables, with an asking price, you can also indicate that you would also be willing to trade.  Requires that you leave a cell no so you can be reached, and, if you make a trade, a little green toward Lonnie is in order.

WOW.................

Sounds like Lonnie has a good thing going there.

Lonnie provides a good service otherwise not available.

Lonnie also pays a booth fee if I'm not mistaken, just like a vendor.

I have seen guys walking around with a bow or quiver that says for sale on it but I dont knowi thats supposed to work that way lol.

wingnut

I tell you it upsets a lot of vendors when we see guys walking around with for sale signs when we are paying hundreds for the privilege to sell our goods.

So use Lonnie to sell your stuff It's a good service.

I have no problem with using Lonnie. Just wondering if it is worth bringing a bow that I may want to sell..

gvdocholiday

Yes it is worth it.  If you want to sell it, and you're going to Kzoo anyways, it takes no effort to put it on Lonnie's table.
