Raptor is an hour away... Going to see Ted soon, he is going to make a couple strings for my new Mentor....   :clapper:

The traveling retailer with a web site and an on line catalog like "The Nocking Point" gets most of my business. They attend 3-D shoots, build relationships, and provide service that you will not get from the big box stores. 3 Rivers and Big Jim's are also on my short list of traditional archery retailers. If you have a need, check with these traditional archery companies and others found on the Trad Gang vendor list. If you don't they will fall by the way-side as well.   :campfire:

I have Kimsha nearby, he has some older stock stuff so his prices are often pretty good.

we have Traditional archery supply and the Hunters Rendezvous in Massachusetts,,  we used to have 5 separate trad dealers and 3 traditional clubs but now only 2 dealers and no clubs,,  I guess I'll take it compared to what a lot of other people have access to.

WE have Kazoo and Compton's. Both are a long drive but we can get our hands on stuff before we buy.  Three or four hrs drive just means more family time together.

I wish I had one.  I live in southern Weat Virginia and there's nothing close by that I know of

I don't go into the local ones in Minneapolis but The Footed Shaft is an hour or so drive. Terry can mail what I need usps and I get it next day. If I'm down there for a kids sports thing, I stop in.

Nothing that I know of in NW PA. If I'm wrong I would love to be corrected! The field in stream store in Erie actually has a handful of tabs, armguards, and some bear and other bows on the rack, but I rather send my archery allowance to someone who needs it and deals in trad! F&S isn't going out of business because I buy string wax somewhere else!

Trenton G.

Nothing around here that I know of unfortunately.

"The Footed Shaft"- Rochester, Minnesota. About a 2 1/2 hour drive, but that's okay. Great people!
They are the closest for me too, about an hour and a half from here. I don't get up there nearly enough though. [/b]
40 minutes from me...a little less if I saw a bow on their website I'm interested in!    :)

I wish, we had one shop that at one time had Bob Lee, Toelke, and one other, now it's cheap recurves and Xbows. I guess this is what happens with the Xbox generation. Even my kid asked me why I don't shoot a Xbow. We are a dying breed.

My dad's shop, Itasca Archery Supply, is north of Grand Rapids, MN.  15 minutes away from me.

The Footed Shaft is down in Rochester, MN.  About 5 hrs south of me.
