Hey gang! I haven't truly posted anything in several years so I thought I'd share this.

When I was about 10 years old I had a run in with a fox and my old black fiberglass bear bow, along an old rail road track behind grandmother's house.

Typing on my phone so this is segmented...

Anyways after that encounter I have wanted to shoot a fox with my bow worse then anything!

I had several close encounters over the years but something always went wrong. It seemed I just couldn't get it done.

But after 30 plus years it finally happened.

Black locust selfbow, River cane arrows, and knapped obsidian heads put this guy down very quickly!

Mate, that is really special! I am sure I killed a fox years ago with my first longbow, but he went into these tunnels made by really thick grass. Lost. Maybe someday.

Great job ! I had a fox come right at me once while walking to my stand . There was two of them and they acted like they were going to attack.  I let the lead fox get within 10 yards and shot his butt . The 2ND fox was circling me to my right but ran when I shot the first one . My father found it dead in one of his barns . We felt like it may have been rabid.

Fantastic! Never had a shot at a fox. Great story.
I would've taken better care of myself,if I'd known I was gonna live this long!
