New Sasquatch T/D Recurve- to me

I just received in the mail my new to me Sasquatch T/D Recurve 64" 50@28. Draws smooth, but just as I approach full draw it has a slight creaking/clicking sound coming from the limb Where it bolts to the riser.
Maybe new nylon washers or rubber washers would help. Once I draw it back it makes that sound, then if I let down and redraw no sound. It's only when I draw shoot then the sound, and not all the time. It's like having a built in clicker.
Prior to this I talked to Kirk from Big Foot Bows, about the placement of the washers. We talked for almost 25 minutes very nice guy, and very informative. He stated that I had one of his original made Sasquatches. Looks like I may be sending my veneers over there for another in 60" or 62" Recurve.

Nice lookin' stick. To get rid of the click, put a thin piece of cork or the fuzzy side of velcro under the limb where it lays on the riser. You will never hear the clicks again!

You can try a coat of wax, like butchers wax, beeswax, etc on the limb surface. One of my Silvertips did the same and the wax ended it.

Minwax Finishing Wax works as well.

Actually, there a lot of uses for toilet bowl wax other than toilet bowls. I haven't tried it on bows, but I bet it would work. It sticks to about anything, especially if you warm it up a bit first.

Kirk makes some nice looking bows, I always liked how he splices the veneers on the belly of the bow.

Yes, Kirk makes some great looking performace bows.
I own a SS recurve, best bow I ever own.
At the Moment I save money for the SS longbow!
Try stringwax or vaseline an you will never look back.
