Recently I have been debating on switching from my Catquiver to a bow quiver. I have been using a Catquiver now for more years then I can count and never used a bow quiver. But this year, i have had some durability issues with a new Catquiver that I bought last summer. Grant it, I have never had a Catquiver last longer then 3-4 years but truly like how functional they are.
I have been truly considering a Mini Boa 4 arrow quiver that is a strap mounted quiver. I like the idea of being able to remove a quiver when I want and I am dead against drilling into a beautiful wood bow. Any suggestion that you may have would be valued.

I like very light bows, so that when I add a strap on quiver, such as the mini boa, it gives me the perfect weight and balance im looking for. I like EFA quivers, but think the boa is a good choice also. Kanati also makes great quivers.

I really like the EFA quivers, they add very little weight to the bow.

If you are using a TD recurve I prefer the Great Northern QD system. I've had strap ons and don't like the fit.

If you are using a LB I'm of even less use than normal.

If the bow already has quiver inserts I also use a G5, low profile quiver that can be easily removed.

I take any quiver that's on my bow off when in my tree stands or grand blind. For ground hunting (out west) I have a Safari Tough Duiker over the shoulder.

My new favorite is the Thunderhorn quiver that goes on with the take down bow bolts. Going to be a pleasure traveling down to florida this year for my hog hunt. The delta quiver was a pain fitting in my duffle bag.

are kanati quivers still around?

Great Northern Kickback extreme with inline gripper, or Thunderhorn Small fry lynx.  I've tried them all and really like these 2.

I forgot to add that I only have one piece bows. I have nothing against three or two piece bows, just prefer one piece. I like the lines of a one piece. But thanks for all the input. Keep em coming.

Love my BigJim four arrow quivers , have three of them and the straps hold them very secure.

I love my Kanati slim jim bow quiver, the best I have ever used.

I went with a Thunderhorn small fry lynx on my longbow. I sent them a picture of my bow and they matched the leather color to my bow.

I like the Thunderhorn Quivers as well. Does the strap on quivers dampen the bow to some degree??

My longbow is equally quiet with or without my Thunderhorn Boa, but even though I have it mounted well into the fadeouts, my arrows (including bareshafts) act stiffer with the quiver on.

didn't like the thunderhorn or the selway. I love LOVE the big jim small quiver.

Thanks everybody. I have not shot a quiver on my bow even when I shot wheelie bows back in early 90's. I know that they always have an effect of arrow flight characteristics as well as the sound. I want a quiver that's easy to remove once in the stand and put back on.

I've tried most of them over the years. Selway, GN, Thunderhorn Boa and my favorite for looks and function is the Small fry Boa. Mounts easy and secure

Have you considered a Safari Tuff Arrowmaster. Similar function as a Catquiver. But in my opinion better.

It's hard to beat a Great Northern quiver no matter which version you get.

Thunderhorn or Selway both very good quivers.
