Claudia, that was a great read. You sure did him proud   :notworthy:

I have one coming out in TBM shortly about sharing time shooting and hunting with the man who got me started, my dad, and my son Cade.  I'm very lucky to have them both ......

Claudia.. I just received my copy of TBM the other day and went right to your article first. Three quarters of the way through I was getting a little water in my eye. Wonderful story! And a beautiful tribute to your father. God Bless.
Someday you and I will take the Great Hart by our own skill alone, and with an arrow. And then the Little Gods of the Woods will chuckle and rub their hands and say, "Look, Brothers. An Archer! The Old Times are not altogether gone!"

Now  THIS  is Christmas!!!
I just got in and picked up the mail. There were no bills for me, and my issue of TBM  and  the new 3Rivers catalog are here!

Now I can read what you all have already read, and see what new goodies are showing up in the wish book!

I have been waiting for my issue to arrive and to actually read it first before commenting.  This thread maybe 10 pages down before the dogsled/kayak combo of postal delivery has mine in my paws!

I'm with you Steve. Let's keep this thread close to the top so we won't have to do a search.  :-)

I finally got my copy and have to agree...that was probably my favorite article in this issue.  Great job pinecone.

Excellent article.  I lost my best friend from high school October 28, 2002.  Turns out that Charlie Lamb completed my Sunbear recurve that same day.  Every time I have that bow in my hands, I think of the connection of one friend leaving and another entering my life.  Well written article that struck a chord with a lot of us.  Thank you...
