First of all new guy here so hello. I recently purchased a black rhino m48 for my 6 year old son for christmas and i must say i was pleasantly surprised with how well the bow looks to be made. I myself have a bear grizzly and earlier this year had a super kodiak which i loved but had to sell due to some hard times. Anyways i was looking on the black rhino page and saw that they listed an m58 custom which was a 58" r/d longbow available up to 45#. I sent the companies owner an email reguarding the m58 custom and he responded back letting me know that he doesnt do the m58 custom much anymore but he does have another option available in 58-64" length and weights up to 55#@28" and the price is $275. Ive been wanting a 50-55# longbow for some time and this seems like a great price for an american made longbow. Does anybody have any expirience with their fullsized bows?

Chuck builds great bows. I doubt you'll find any that are any better to talk to or deal with. IMHO

God bless,Mudd

The road to "Sherwood" makes for an awesome journey.

Don't know anything about the bows, but Welcome to the Gang!

Yes well crafted and what a great guy Chuck is to deal with i highly recommend his bows for anyone having kids starting out in traditional archery plus he offers a trade-in program as they grow

Thanks guys. I really liked the strikers i shot at the ata show but i think the black rhino would be a good first step for a longbow. Im a compound guy transitioning to the trtradition side of things. I hold several state records here in indiana and have even won ibo world with my compunds and freestyle gear. I just cant get over the connection and enjoyment of shooting a stickbow anf its brought the fun back into the sport for me.

awesome bows! my youngest son started with the 9# 35". went to the 42" and then the 48". he shot the 9# about 12 years ago. this last summer my 3 year old granddaughter started shooting that same bow. she needed help pulling it but she loves it. great bows.
