Are the blades interchangeable on the ferrules?

highlow

They are Bucky. Both main and bleeder. Just did one my son used to shoot his deer last week. You can buy the main blades and the bleeders separately. The buzz cuts are the best. Wish they made a heavier model like a 175.

Thanks Dave. I really want to try Buzzcuts. Any luck this year? I got one doe. See you in January?

I've never heard people say that. Anybody else think that?

Neither have I. But, because of my age and declining auditory capabilities, I will conduct a test to verify yea or nay. Stay tuned.

Just came in from my very "un-scientific" test on the question of noisy Buzzcuts. I shot the same arrow from the same bow, interchanging between the Stinger Buzzcut 4-blade with a Bear Razorhead greenie, sans bleeder blade. Factoring in my rapidly declining auditory sense, there was no discernible noise in either the Buzzcut or the greenie. You can take that for what it's worth, which isn't much. Still think the Buzzcut 4-blade is an awesome head.

My buzzcuts were very quiet, and flew great, but were very fragile.. None of the 3 I bought survived, but in all fairness the third didn't because I threw it in the trash.

I know you're not asking for other options, and i'm sure they work fine 70% of the time, but I moved on to Zwickeys and Simmons, and will be trying out Grizzlys in the future.

Killed quiet a few deer with buzzcuts and practice only with them getting ready for hunting season and have never heard them make noise.. if noisy could be from poorly tuned arrow.

that must be it. I only do this for a living. I must not know how to tune an arrow.

I have shot both for many years and have never encountered a noise issue.  Love the head and it is my go to broadhead on really big critters where penetration is critical.

Do you locktite the threads in your buzzcuts? that seems to be the weak link that design to me. anyone have issues with blades getting a little wobbly after impacts?
