I've owned, sold, and shot lots and lots of bows but recently grabbed a Great Northern Lil Creep that is really blowing me away.  It's smooth, quick, and quiet and bare shafted the first arrow I tried, perfectly.  It's not super fancy with exotic woods and flares but the finish is flawless and it has that deadly simplicity I love in a bow.  With a strap on Great Northern quiver I just might finish out late season archery with this and hang up the Widow.  Just thought I'd tip my hat to a great company here....any other GN fans feel free to chime in or post pics.

I had a GN longbow and really loved it. I think GN has simple elegance and I love their lines/profile...

Ghost Dog

I understand. I have several GN bows, one of which is a Lil Creep. I've owned a lot of bows over the years and I really got tired of overly fancy bows. The GN line of bows represent all a bow needs to be while still being beautiful to behold, fancy without the need for multiple overlays and laminated handle sections.

Lowrider

I have a SuperGhost that is very pointable and accurate and is the quietest bow I own. Hard to believe that a Recurve is quieter than a hybrid longbow.

I had a Critter Gitter Special, JackKnife, and traded it, to try another. That was a big Mistake! Nothing but good to say about the Great Northern Bows. Simplicity and function at its finest.

Great bows and even better folks to deal with.

I own a critter gitter, lil creep, and a bush bow.  My lil creep is my go-to bow that I enjoy the most.  Animals just die when I hunt with that bow.

Simplicity is often the most beautiful portrayal of elegance and efficiency.

My Critter Gitter is out on long term loan; not sure I'll ever get it back.  Absolutely a great hunting bow, deadly quiet, easy shooting, plenty snappy.

I've shot every model that Jerry made with the exception of the Citter Gitter. I wished that model was still available for purchase. I've had 3 Bushbows and absolutely loved them all. I really love the locator grip that Jerry puts on his bows. I just wish the Lil Creep was available in a 62" model. I just don't shoot shorter bows as well. Jerry is a great guy and has excellent customer service.

Sorry... I meant to type Critter Gitter !

I own 10 Great Northern bows. 1 Ghost recurve, 1 Bushbow, 1 Lil Creep, 3 Critter Gitters and 4 Critter Gitter Specials. They just feel like they would last forever. I like the simple clean lines. They shoot pretty quiet when set up well. It's hard to pick a favorite one out of the bunch. I enjoy talking with Jerry about his bows. He's done a lot to promote traditional archery!

Jerry is one of the forefathers of bow building, making thousands of functional hunting bows. Gorgeous bows made with his heart and soul built in.
Great hunting weapons, with excellent craftsmanship!

I would also share in singing praise of Great Northern bows. I have two, a 56" ghost and a 58" critter gitter special. They are exquisitely crafted and excellent performing bows with a simple sort of elegance about them that you can't help but be drawn to. What they may lack in bling is more than made up in form, function and utility afield. No doubt Jerry's bows are some of the finest made for decades.

I also own a Lill creep and love the way it shoots, its simple clean lines and gorgeous D profile.
My all time favorite bow was a 60# Ghost jacknife.
