Does anyone use the sit and climb strap with the hand climber? Had the wide sit climber and I didn't like how far the sides stuck out. How easy is the strap to use?
As we get older our bow weight goes down and our body weight goes up, One of Lifes little jokes.

I saw your post and looked it up on youtube. Looks like it worked pretty well. A Lone Wolf Assault is on my Christmas list!

I have the lone wolf assault and after an incident where the bottom section slipped off my boots and I discovered what a challenge it was to hold myself up w one elbow ont the seat while I used the other hand to try to coax the bottom back up to me using one strap I became very interested in the sit and climb strap.  I got the strap and use it almost every time I climb down.  It works great, makes no noise, and when not in use is not in the way.  I highly recommend it.

i have one, and it's a little awkward for me. you can only seem to inch up the tree with it, climbing up. that said, i got used to using the hand climber without it, and it's pretty easy for me now.

hadn't thought about using it just for climbing down.

The trick to using the strap is to lay your arms across the hand climber and grab at the tree as you lift the stand section. I can climb faster this way and gain at least a foot or more with each motion.

Just ensure that your strap is adjusted so you have your body weight on it while your arms are laying across the seat.

I honestly believe the hand climber is as easy to climb in without the strap as any climber on the market. It looks awkward when you watch someone do it but once you practice a couple times its a breeze. Just my two cents.

Yep I've been interested in the sit strap too, but the last few times with the hand climber I'm getting much better, and now love it. Can scoot up pretty quick with longer strides. And much prefer it over the standard sit/climb section I have also.
