Whew...that was even more fun than I expected it would be. From meeting new friends, to re-meeting Izzy (herkimerhunter), to seeing my good friend Akai fling some arrows from his new bow. A lot of fun was had in front of those video screens. Thanks again Izzy...

Pic's to come...

Chris i know what you mean! I am totally hooked on shooting the A.I.S. system. (another just like the Techno)

Last year when another local shop that was closing down had one of the Techno Hunts and they sold it for $300...screen and all!!! I just didnt find out about the sell until it was to late!   :banghead:

It sure would have been nice to be able to set up one of those in my garage!!! Heck for one of those i would probably build a 20 yard little building out back just so i could shoot it whenever i wanted!!!

Could one of you guys explain what this is? Sounds fun!

Slayer, its video archery. The screen is probably 8 by 10 and all kind of critters show up,elk, deer,
rabbits, turkeys, etc.in their natural setting. You stand back about 20 yards
and shoot at them with a special tip on your arrow When your arrow hits the screen,it stops and teels you if you hit vitals, body or missed.
Its a ball to shoot because the animals are usually moving and there are trees and other stuff in the way.You have to wait to pick your shot.
Chris, nice meeting you and your friend, how about that Mario,he's something. Can't do enough for you.
Hope to shoot with you again.

That really sounds fun. Whats the name of the company that make the system? Or have a link? Anybody know how much a system like this would cost? I am in the process of building a 20 yard indoor shooting range in my garage. This sounds like something that would be nice to have. Probably have to be Bill Gates to afford one....Thanks for info.

They used to be called a Dart Archery System.
I havent seen one in a while though. I would love to have one.

Our local archery shop runs a DART league every spring. Talk about fun!

Blackhawk

I believe the DART and Techno Hunt systems are two different systems, but they operate and perform similarly.

A few years ago, our small group of archers shot the Techno Hunt game weekly and enjoyed it very much.   :scared:  Needless to say, I do not have one.
