I`m planning a trip to Houston TX, next sept/oct (2017) We will be in the area for 2 days and is planning a bowhunt for Javalina and/or hogs!
I would appreciate some input for a good hunting outfitter. Will go east to New Orleans after, so any outfitter in the area that dont push the distances in wrong direction with alot is the best

Houston is pretty swampy.  Hogs but no javis in my experience.  Lots of armadillos tho.

Houston is a little far north for Javelina, you'll need to travel south fair bit for good Javi country. Hogs in the area but many ranches will be geared for deer hunters that time of year so options will be less than after deer season. Hopefully someone on here can put you on to a hog location

Like mentioned, no Javelinas in the Houston area, sorry.

I will gladly take you hog hunting, I own some good hog hunting land just east of Houston. We can likely make your visit to Texas a good one. We may even be able to get a hog hunt with dogs in during your visit if you're interested. My place is nothing fancy but the hog hunting is great.
