That's cool! Congrats!! Is a doe an option/ choice. Or do you have to apply for those types of game?

Here in Texas exotics aren't considered game animals, because they aren't native. But they are everywhere here, free range and on ranches. There are places in the hill country where you see them just driving through towns even. But since they aren't native they can be hunted year round, pretty much no restrictions.

I'm not 100% sure how that works. They free range over much of the state, even though they aren't native here. Axis, fallow, sika deer, etc. I don't know if they'd breed with whitetails or not.
