hey guys. i recently picked up a dozen of these fletched, and they were so weird looking that i thought something was wrong with them.

turns out, they were the kind that were, for a time, called Super Slam Selects, and they have a nock end that is "super swaged". basically, the end is swaged down to accept the super nock directly, without the Uni-bushing.

my question is this: anybody have experience shooting these? do they shoot the same as the regulars? are there any differences in spine or anything? they are fletched with feathers, but the feathers are slightly forward due to the swaged end. i imagine there's no difference, but would like to hear it from someone who has shot them. thanks!

I have had a number of them. Next to X7's I think they were the best aluminum shafts Easton made at the time. They were probably the best in aluminum hunting shafts. They will shoot like any XX75 shaft. They just have a higher tensile strength.
A man's true measure is not found in what he says, but in what he does.

I shoot some X7 Cobalt's just like those, swaged to accept the Super nock without a bushing.Quality arrow, alittle stronger then a XX75 and a .001 or .002 straighter.Spine is the same as what is marked on them.I shoot some XX78 with a uni-bushing and X7,same spine and they shoot the same. They were the upper level of Easton aluminum shafts as far as straightness and weight tolerance. The XX78 Super Select were the camo versions of the X7 target arrows.
