ok guys lets see your hand on the bow grip, this may help with the different styles of grips out there, so how do you grip it?

So which one of my 50 bows would you like to see...I grip my bows lots of ways, whatever works best with that bow

I grip every bow the same .
Why wouldn't you ?
The only difference is the grip height .

I'll add another point of view: It Depends (on the design of the bow & grip).
I don't find what works on one bow necessarily works on all... then why are there different grip shapes, and styles, and different tillers?
Would you use a high wrist, thumb and forefinger grip on a straight handled longbow?

For finding what the bow likes, I do two things: Standing in a relaxed upright position (not your shooting stance, just stand up), hold the bow with one hand, arm relaxed and at full length down along your side. Balance the bow with one finger like that. Where it balances is the bow's fulcrum - and it might not be in the web of your thumb and forefinger. Next - draw the bow with your bow hand fingers open, and see how the grip settles into your hand. I go with that. Finger pressure adjusts t what the bow tells me.

i still cant figure my bob lee out its very picky i dont know what to do

nubuck where in NH are you,,, also are you sure its not tillered for 3 under and/or the limbs are straight.

my palmer I grip the whole grip like  bob lee,,, my preditor I choke the throat and lay my other fingers on the grip loose,,  my John Jordan I shoot with a high wrist lifting my palm off the grip and letting the bow pull in between my thumb and point finger hard.

Bob Lees are easy bows to shoot, might be something more going on.

Yes, Kirks video-description is on of the best I have seen and also heard.
But I think it also depends on the grips shape.
On my Bezallels, witch all has a high wrist shape, I'm not able to get more then an 30 degree angel.
With Kirks Sasquatch SS and a medium high wrist shape the 45 degree angle is not a problem at all.

Kirk told me before that I would not get the 45 degree angle with my bezaleels cause of the grips shape.
