I just bought a beeeeautiful 1968 Kodiak Magnum for a whopping $80. The guy thought it needed to be refinished but when I got it home it was just some old tape residue from a reel or something. I get the feeling that whoever owned it was real careful not to put any holes in it.What is the best way to shine this baby up? When I get it put back together I will post some pics. First I want to give it a really good cleaning .Thanks

Brian, I've gone over some of my old Bears that I bought on e-bay with 000 steel wool. I go over the bow lightly and it seems to clean the bows up nice. I then wipe the bow down with some furniture wax.

Flitz Metal&fiberglass&paint restorer works on fiberglass helmits and most paint surfaces I have used it on a 68 vintage Kodiak Mag I own made it look bran new plus no sanding or removing origanal finish at a last resort steel wool & a refinishing
