Rubber Clicker?

I recently bought a clicker to try out and I really like it, except it's made from a chain and is starting to nick up the glass on my limbs.

I've seen a few guys out there with rubber draw checks/clickers, does anyone know where to get those or are they homemade? Almost looks like a peep sight instead of a chain.

I use d loop material that is used for compounds. I glue it in the hole of the clicker blade and burn a knot on the end of the string on the backside of the clicker blade. I run the d loop material through my bow string.

Look on the next page at the thread "String Clicker positions". Alan (AS) has a real good close up picture of how he does his. I do mine the same way. The first thing I do with a new clicker is remove the chain. I have never seen or heard of a rubber clicker.

Would you be able to sleeve the chain with the outer layer of some 550 paracord?

I just replace the chain with the material that compound shooters use as their "D" loop string when using a trigger. Can get it at any archery store. Knot the one end through the string and thread the other end through the clicker hole where the chain was,,,then melt the end of the frayed chord. Slide the string up the string to lengthen the draw length and down to shorten.

I replace the chain as well. It's great for making adjustments quicker and easier, but it's loud, and does damage the finish. D-loop material works great.

It's real simple to replace the chain. I leave a tag for length adjustment.

Thanks everyone I took the clicker apart and removed the chain, I see now where you tie it on. Just bought some D loop material too, should be good to go!
