Absorkee Quiver - Who's used one and what do you think?

Must say this quiver looks awesome...seems like a lot going for it.

Any opinions to share? Some pics of it in use would be great.

One thing I'm wondering about is using the quiver while crawling on all fours...wouldnt that cause the fletches to stick up and you're back with a flagging "issue"?? I guess you could take it off and crawl with it in your hand but that might be a pain.

works AWESOME!!!! I wanted one to use because I either have a heavy back pack on or my son in a child carrier back pack. have been meaning to post pic's and a video but it has been hotter then blaze's here for a month now! hottest July since 1808! will get some pic's and video up as soon as possible, have not tried crawling on all 4 with it yet but will do. Tim is a TOP NOTCH guy to deal with and the craftsmanship is of the charts!

To answer your question about crawling, this is one place the Absorkee Quiver stands out over other non-bow quivers, simply remove the quiver and the caddy bracket, is the handle to hold it while moving. No need to get undressed to remove the quiver.

I don't have the Absorkee, but I have a Ridge Line, and absolutely love it!

I used an Absorkee on a bear hunt last year, Bear Quest #9. Worked great, top quality piece of gear.

I can tell you that we have used this quiver since it's beginning, and the same system (from which Tim got inspired) for 30 years now and it works. It's not perfect, but no quiver system is. However, if you are not a fan of bowquivers (like myself) then this is one of the best options. Easiest on/off, and "yes", you can crawl with it on all 4's or even your belly...the bracket makes a great handle, and it's so easily taken off and put back on that it's no problem at all. Also, realistically, as a hunter, the number of times you will actually crawl with it is so insignificant to it's other advantages that it shouldn't be the main focus. As a quiver with arrows go, it's as good or better than most in a crawling situation, and I can cite and show results of a few of these successes if needed, but the other "pros" of this are many. From easy on/off, to carrying the weight on your hips, to "no" straps around your neck and shoulders, to ease of grabbing another arrow quickly, to adaptability in different scenarios......

We have used this system from Alaska to Texas, and east to west with nothing but the best results.

And Tim's workmanship is second to none.

Love mine. Rides through the brush very well. Being primarily a treestand guy chasing whitetails I added a loop of parachute cord to hang next to me once in the stand. Best non bow quiver I've used.

I prefer a bow quiver when hunting the mountains. However, either one of Mark's original models or the Absorkee comes out after I get tired of chasing the elusive Wapiti.

i have an Absorkee Emigrant, and i really, really like it. i don't do much spot and stalk hunting, but it is awesome at 3-D shoots. i also carry it with me tree-stand and ground blind hunting, and it does great.

it comes with a fletching cover, if you're worried about that.

quality of the materials is unmatched.
