So I wonder how my 2114's will work? But if push comes to shove I have 3 sizes of carbons to try. One of them will work.
I want to see what I can do with the bow be on 30 yards. Let's me know how it casts an arrow. Old time way of judging a bow maybe but it's a ton of fun!

Graps what exactly do you mean by can't get the recurve limbs to calm down? I also enjoyed the hybrid limbs but had no issues at all with the recurve limbs so I'm just curious. I shoot split finger and thought the bow was completely shock free, quite and fast.

I think it is more of a tiller issue.  The limbs are tillered neutral but depending on excessive heal or Palm pressure it can change the timing of try limbs.    I noticed no shock at all as I was shooting, but everyone shooting style is a little different.  Never had anyone say like a hill style bow before however.

I'm wondering what happened here???

It appears a serious amount of editing has been going on?

But if someone compared one of Will's recurves to a Hill style bow I would have to imagine they are doing something wrong or smoking the wacky.

But like I said, I am clearly coming in post editing...

Hmmmmm. I know you think you understand what you thought I said, but I'm
not sure that what you heard is what I actually meant!

Well, I wonder what graps said?????
I can't read what graps said either but, I can tell you, I shoot 3 fingers under and both the recurve and hybrid limbs were absolutely smooth shooting. I wonder if it might be a brace height or arrow weight issue?

Like others, I cant read a thing from graps either, so who knows?.... But I certainly believe every person has a right to their own opinion involving equipment.

Well, the postman just handed me the box about 20 minutes ago. I have already been in the back yard!        :goldtooth:            :goldtooth:

I will most likely only mess with the longbow limbs, as I am a longbow guy, and with my recent arm injury, the recurve limbs will be a bit stout for me.

After about 10 minutes of getting aquainted, this is what I am getting at 15yds:

And this is the only group I have shot at 20yds (it is HOT outside, so I decided to wait till later when it cools off):

My point of impact is off a bit from my point of aim, but that is to be expected with a new bow and more pounds than I am used to.

Initial impression is smooth, quiet, and fast. The fast part may be due to the fact that it is 3# more than I am used to???

The mass weight of the bow seems heavy to me (but that is because my goto bow has a lot smaller riser, and a lot lower mass weight).

I am pleased after 30 minutes, that is for sure!

That new dymondwood from Mike at rosewood is definitely some heavy stuff. It will add a good bit of mass weight to a riser!

Like I said above, I am 99% a longbow guy. This bow is a real beauty, and I would think anyone who likes a recurve style handled longbow would love this bow!
