This idea has been running around in my mind for some time, and since it refused to find some far away corner and get lost, I decided it was time to act on it...The idea, how to camo an Absorkee Quiver!
Recently, I talked with a guy who owned a Hydro Dipping company in another town, and asked him if it was possible to hydro dip leather, he told me that he knew a guy that was doing it and it could be done, so last Monday, I finally had a chance to go to Helena, and the results, I'll post them in a minute.
First this is new, and it is an added cost, so if public opinion is good, and these sell, I will be cautiously adding it to the services offered by Farr West Leather!  We may also offer this on armguards!


The first one is done in an ASAT pattern!

 
These two are done in Predator, one on a light, and one on a dark background.




This last one was done in a dark wood burl, the close up of the hood shows the detail a bit better.

As mentioned above, this is something new for Farr West Leather, and I'm not sure but it is close to a first for all leather quivers?  In order to get the best possible pricing, I can, at first there will be a wait time, after these are gone, when ordering one. Not sure I would go for that but it is really neat!

It's a neat idea, but I'm kind of a purist myself.  That's kinda like spray painting a nice exotic wood recurve to me.  My thoughts are that if you want a camo quiver, then why spend the money a leather one costs?  Just get a cheap plastic camo quiver.  Hopefully you'll get some interested though and get some business out of it.    

I think the best of the bunch is the ASAT one.  It's the boldest and brightest and I think would be the one to really work at distance.  The others I think from far away would just turn solid to the eye.  If forced to pick one pattern to offer I'd pick the ASAT.  My 2c.

I like the natural leather best. Whereas this is a cool concept, I would stick with the natural looks of leather.
