There was zero bashing or venting. Just a new trad archer with a broken bow looking for advise.

I have never read anything stating this is any kind of ongoing problem with them. I would not be afraid of the warranty replacement.

I also have had high dollar bows explode. They were replaced as this one will be. The Sammick line has put a lot of "new" Archers with us. These days affordable is a big thing. I have thought about a Takedown for rehab from a minor surgery in 35 lbs. RC

Hey so I talked to Lancaster and in under 5 minutes the call was over and a brand new bow is being sent free of charge with a return label in it to send the broken bow back. The guy Ryan also offered me a refund but I wouldn't get the shipping refunded so I opted for a replacement. He also let me order a higher poundage draw. The original bow was 40. I got a 50 this time. Amazed at the costumer service of Lancaster. No small talk, just straight to the replacement.

:clapper:  I would have expected nothing less from them. Everyone there is top notch and they KNOW customer service.

As I ditto that.... DITTO THAT!

Outstanding!  I wish everyone stood behind their products like that.  I have an $800+ bow hanging in my shop.  A friend bought it, it delaminated on the first draw.  Bowyer won't replace it.

Good to hear B. Send a pic our way when you get it blooded.

Sammick makes a quality product so don't turn you head on them. I killed the biggest buck of my life 160+ with a samick sage. I will buy a one piece samick just to say I have one bc I will always be trusting of the brand after learning so much with a take down sage.

Lancaster has been great with me in the past. I'm glad it worked out.

Ditto .
You can hop but you can't hide.
If it was not for rabbits I would never get a buck.

Glad to hear that they did you fair and that you are pleased with the outcome. Speaks well for all involved.

A word to the wise:
I bought my Sage from the local Bass Pro, paid retail ($139.00) but 'saved' on shipping. Fortunately I've had no issues with it. BUT...if I did, do you think Bass Pro would refund my money or exchange it?
I don't know, but I guessing the answer would be "very doubtful". Something to think about when purchasing from a source other than a dedicated player like Lancaster or 3Rivers.

Hey this might be a dumb question but I took a video of me shooting and It looks like the bow limbs are really stressing. Could this be why the bow snapped? maybe im shooting a bow thats just too short for my draw length. What do you think?

The Whittler

That depends on the bow length and your draw length. I have a 58" Bear Grizzly and a 52" Shakspear that I pull to about 29" draw and have no problems. Sometimes things just happen.

How does it feel to you.

Red Beastmaster

The bow is 60", it looks fine at your draw. A recurve can take a whole lot more than you are giving it!

Your bow just let go. It happens.

Just don't ever dry fire it or let it strung in a hot car. That's usually how bows delaminate.
