Hey ya'll! I'm was checking out my bow yesterday, wondering why I'm gettin' flyers now and then, and it looks like my over/under nock points (I use one over the arrow nock and one under) might be causing some pinch. So I removed the over and nocked my arrow and let fly with a few. No flyers and nice, tight groups. I know my arrow set up is good, and my release is good more often than not, so I'm thinking this was one of the last fine tuning things. My questions are what do you all use...nock under one nockset, nock over one nockset, two nocksets, brass or tie-ons. My bow is a 54" Morrison so I'm thinking the short length with two nocksets, and I shoot split finger, was causing arrow nock pinching. What thoughts can you share on this subject?

Nock under - tie on. I like under, that way the arrow doesnt slide up the string while sitting in a stand hunting.

TexMex

I started nocking over -this is after watching 'Hitting Them like Howard Hill'

Nock under-tie on.I shoot three under and this seems to work best for me.

BTH:
It really is a matter of personal choice. Do what turns your crank and works for you. I perfer the tie on nock point, because its easy to adjust without tools and does not dig into the tab or glove.

I prev used a two (tie-on)however now only use a
nock under....when using two, in a hurried situation or poor light you might nock under or over....If you shoot over the nock and are shooting heavy heads or loose serving your nocked arrow may move up on the string.....allen

FJTOYMAN

Under with a tie on. After tuning with a brass nock.

Dirty Bill

I knock under because you don't have to look at the bow to knock an arrow.
