I bareshafted my Trad Only w/o a wrap. Tested good. Put a wrap on it. Showed stiff. Dropped to 340's. Same head weight. Showed weak. Will fletching fix or should I go back to where I was. 55 @ 31". 300 gr up front. 3 Ruvers catalogue showed shafts were 32 1/2" they were 32" not much cut off room. Thanks Guys

Fletch and shoot your broadheads for actual verification.

Yep, matching field point and broadhead tipped arrows impact is the goal.
shoot straight shoot often

Your setup is similar to mine. 62lb@31"
I have both the .300 and .340 three rivers shafts. The .340 worked best to achieve the arrow weight I wanted. About 650 gr.
I cut just a little off. It doesn't take much! My finished arrow is 31 3/4" from throat of nock to end of carbon.
I use a 50 gr brass insert and 250 gr point.  they bareshaft a tad weak but that is by design as hunting clothing, stiff muscles and cold can cause a little less draw length. If I use the .300s I need to use a 100 grain insert. These are excellent quality shafts. Use a good point glue like insert iron or epoxy. They are so slick, hot melt didn't work for me.

I cut a little off and still show weak on the 340s. I am actually less stiff with the 300's than I am weak with the 340's. My question should have been do I choose the weak or the stuff option? I have more of the 300's.

Any weak is too weak--for me.  Slightly stiff will do if need be--for me.

Tedd

You should definitely be close. The .300 might be bumping the strike plate a little.

Chain2

It might be. I'm going to try a thinner one. If it doesn't change I'm just going a little stiff. I should have never bareshafted it just threw a wrench in my thinking. Thanks guys
