Antique mall find

I was helping my mother move some things she had for sale out of an antique mall booth she was renting when I saw a booth with deer horns and other hunting stuff. As I started looking around I saw an old bear grizzly for $25.00, it was in pretty bad shape so I put it back. Then I looked up on a shelf and saw a Blitzenburger fletching jig. It was obviously an older model but in really good shape. I bought it for, get this.......$8.00!!! I just bought one a couple months ago for $85.00! Definitely the deal of the day!

Yes the Bitz s are good jigs. I got lucky about a year ago and found two for $ 80.

The archery store that I traded in rotated his jigs every 3 years or so. He said for tax proposes. I got 3 for $30 each. Gave one away. I always felt lucky on that one.
That has been 40 years ago, maybe I am due as well. You can not go wrong with a Blitz. The jig can be updated and they will replace those clips on the clamps for only the cost of clips. You can even get instructions on the net from their website.

Dannon, That's really cool! I once was given several boxes of stuff from an older man who quit archery hunting. Digging through the boxes, I found a brand new Jo-Jan Multi fletcher! Never been used, all the clamps, everything. Lots of other cool stuff too.

Love finding deals like that. Found a Bear nimrod quiver with the cover at an antique mall 2 months ago for 20 bucks. I almost ran up to the counter and paid for it before some one else tried to grab it lol. But my wife says nobody else would get excited about that but I don't agree haha. Once in awhile deals appear.
