I am curious what everybody thinks of this buck as for age and what he would score. I took a conservative estiment score of 185 and 6 years old. And no, he is not a high fence deer either. He is 100% wild.

likely 168-174 non-typical velvet

I'll say your close with 6 years

He is a bruiser for sure. Thanks! Hard to judge with velvet, for me anyways.

Once velvet is gone, I'd guess him upper 150's up to low 160's typical. He looks 5 to me.

No matter what it scores , it's definitely a trophy .

High 150 to low 160s. He'said 5+
62" Super D, 47#s @ 25-1/2"
58" TS Mag, 53#s @ 26"
56" Bighorn, 46#s @ 26.5"

Gee Whiz, what a buck!  If those two things that look like browtines are, he'll go 200.  If those are something in the background... 180 plus.

I'd say you're right about his age... at least six.

I think you are close on age. Maybe a little high on score, but probably not too much. Beautiful buck!

I think you are real close with your score and age also. Big at the shoulders with a sagging belly. He is awesome and I hope you get a poke at him.
Never measure the mountain until you have reached the top, then you will see how low it is.

Cyclic-Rivers

I'd have to take a  bite of the meat to estimate his age.     ;)    ;)    :p

He sure is nice to look at though.

Tough one, I would say when he gets out of velvet he gross's 160-170, the brows will help him out a bunch. As far as age goes, he's got the body of a mature deer for sure, I would say at least 5, maybe 6. Either way, he's a shooter! If you get anymore pics of him when he comes out of velvet, post em, his score will be a bit easier to guess.

Don't care, but if he gave me a shot I would take it. Nice buck.

I'd say you are really close on the age.  Im thinking he will be high 160s, low 170s gross.

I would say that is a definite 10!

Can't help you much on age or score. Saw the picture and started shaking, got lightheaded and passed out. Wife told me I could not look at that picture again. Worried that I might have a heart attack. All I can say is shoot when in range. Thanks for sharing.   :banghead:

Beauty of a buck, buck he needs another year    :saywhat:

i've had my hands around a few 180 and 190+ deer. that deer there is easily a gross high 180 to 190" deer. without the kickers and stickers that beast would go in the 170's...look at his brow tines, those things look 10" or more. mass is incredible, and he is easily 20+ inside. im going to say 6.5yrs. incredible specimen. just to walk in the same woods as a deer like that makes the hair on my bald head stand up. i hope you get him!!
