Only info I can give you is that I have a buddy who is from Austria, and bowhunting is not legal there. I am pretty sure it is legal in Italy and France though, but no nothing of any outfitters.

Thanks for the reply bisch, i know of a handful of countries it is legal in including france italy spain greenland and a few others but there are a lot of intimidating stipulations with licensing as well as not being able to find much on outfitters i hate anything to do with a guide but i would really like to hunt a little bit

The hunt I want to do in Europe isn't legal yet, but I can't wait until it is!!!

Click around this website and you might be surprised with what opportunities there are out there.

I don't know what exists for outfitters, you could check with Bowhunter Safari Consultants.

Oh, and get your hunters education and bowhunter certificates if you don't have them already.

Forget Germany, even though there are loads of wild boar... Hungary, offer bow hunting, infact I saw a Team Wild youtube video of it somewhere... Here:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QxvxHau8U4o

Do you look for guided hunt or DIY hunt? Public open  land or private fenced land ? Trophy or non trophy hunting? Bow only or rifle?
In Western Europe, France and Spain are the best options.
If you look to an affordable hunt: roe deer in south western France is a good option, the best is beginning August hunt for the rut. Depending where you might shoot a hog as well in same place.
Guided Red stag, mouflon or chamois in late Fall is doable but cost is higher, in government land hunts( ONF hunts=Office National des Forets)
The issue will be the language as in remote rural place, local guys will not speak English.
Spain Is also a good option plus you can hunt there spanish ibex. For a big ram tag is heavy but for young animal or female hunt can be very affordable.
In my place in southern France I can help you with hog, mouflon and roe deer, with local fellows, in unfenced public land.

Did I read somewhere that you cannot possess broadheads ( including in packed / checked luggage in some Euro country ( France ?) ?

Tony, I have many friends that hunt Hungary and other Eastern states for red deer, mouflon, fallow and roe deer. If the price for bull/ bucks can be high( depending onthe size of the trophy) the cows/does fee is very cheap and limitless.

Hello Tommy

What Hybridbow hunter is saying " i know him "

you can trust him , is the best option for a non

resident hunter in France. I leave in the north

of France and the place in the south are better

for big game hunts .

robertson

But let me know if i can help for anything .

Can I ask which other Eastern European countries?  I am interested in one day doing a hunt, but have only found Hungary in the East.  Is Czech doable?

Cheers

Spain is probably your best bet. It is all private but you can do some pretty affordable roe deer hunting there. France is another good option for deer hunting.
There is a place for all God's creatures....right next to the potatoes and gravy.

Slovakia seems to be a popular in here Finland.

The big issue will be the licensing requirements as the NBEF or US hunting educations mostly   will not be accepted.
France may be the best option if you can make sure that it is legal to go there as a guest hunter and if your hunting education will be honored.
Eastern Europe also, if you get some good references.
