I would love to hear from some grizzly owners about likes dislikes etc. Would also love to see some pics of the bows with game animals or good groups that you've shot. I know there's lots out there. I recently bought a used one and I need something to tide me over while I wait on it to be delivered.

The grizzly is a great bow, as you can tell by the number of them in circulation, Mine is a 1970s model, 1976 by my best guess. I have been shooting it as my go to bow for about a year now. I love how light it is and its simple  clean lines, it fits well in my hand and points naturally for me.

Some draw backs are that is does have some hand shock compared to heavier bows, some people dont like how the front of the grip is square instead of rounded.

My main issue is that I notice a bit of difference in power when in I shoot in really hot weather, I'm not sure if this is the limbs or the b50 string material or a combo of both.

I'm not sure how the modern production models stack up but all in all think the grizzly is a classic bow, its hard to go wrong with one.

Mine is in my avatar; 71-72ish. I like how light it is and 58" is a nice compromise length. I really don't find it has all that much hand shock; doesn't seem much different than my friend's Widow, which is a much heavier bow. Grip angle is about right for me as well. Enjoy your purchase.

Been hunting with a "64' Zebrawood Grizzly the last few years. Nice shooting, very forgiving bow. My 2 from last fall.

My 62 Grizzly

I have 3. All are early to mid 70s, #50, #55 and #60lbs. My first recurve bow I bought when I got into trad archery was and still is my Super Grizz @55lbs. I will be shooting one again after dinner tonite.

I've had two, an old one and a newer one. They are better shooting bows than they get credit for. I wish I liked the grip more, however. Still one of the best bangs for the buck.

A 71 model Grizzly was my first bow. Along with it, came three slightly bent aluminum arrows. Still have it, and still shoot it every now and then.

Here's mine; a '71/'72 model. Not sure on the years as the PO refinished it and sanded off the serial number, but the coin dates it to a '71 or '72 model. Took it on my first trad hunt this past fall, very happy with the way it handled. I think you'll really like the Griz, it's a classic.
