I just started using one. Can they with stand quite a bit of rain? I'm curious as to how durable they are?

Me too. Just put one on a Jack Howard and love it so far but I've only taken a couple hundred shots with it.   Interested to see the feedback as well.

Been shooting them for years. VERY durable.....in the rain, just like any other feather...

I have one that is till in fine shape after about 18 months, including a bit of wet weather shooting.  I have two backups just in case.  Pretty dry in Montana though.  I really like them.

Had them on my target bow in 1963 and on several bows now and no problems with weather.

The 2 most commonly asked questions....

Durability...Wild turkeys are tough and so are their feathers.  I make my feather rests out of the very best Primaries I can get my hands on.  I only use the best 5 or 6 Primaries from each wing and only use feathers from adult gobblers.  You should expect to get 1000s of shots from your feather rest if its placed on a moderately well tuned bow.  

Performance when wet....they are feathers and will flatten and lose rigidity when wet, but will dry out and be like new when the rain stops just like the feathers on your arrows. I  don't stop hunting when it"s misting or damp but when it's raining hard enough to "soak" my feathers and my feather rest, my chances of following a blood trail are pretty poor anyway so I'm going to hunt another day or a different time that day.

Silicone sprays and adhesives are often not compatible so please don't try to waterproof a feather rest.  Turkey feathers contain  natural oils and they don't need anything added.  

Most people are surprised at how durable they actually are and how non-abrasive they are to arrow fletching.

I just shot a 3-D round in the rain yesterday with one of TRAP's rests and found it held up fine with no noticeable change in impact. It rained, drizzled, or misted all day too.
