There has been a flurry of posts about the up coming St Judes auction. Some highlight recent donation listings, others speak to the lack of donations. I think some of us take for granted that everyone knows what this auction is all about. I think it's obvious some folks do not and some folks just need a reminder what St Judes is all about.

On the forum home page just after all the Main Forums you will see two St Jude's Forum listings, one is the St Jude's Fact's of the Day. Please, please take the time to read through that Forum. It reminds us all why we do this auction and the total $$$'s raised Forum shows us the power we have as a group. Many many children have been helped because of the generous members of Trad Gang.

Thanks for posting these Ken.  I hope that people here are taking the time to read them - it is some of the most important things we do as members of Trad Gang.  Those who have not become involved are really missing out!

Your thread also made me think of Larry.  I miss seeing him around here and hope he is doing well.

I miss Larry as well, I have a great alligator quiver he made for me when I hosted his grandson over at our house on Christmas when he was stationed at Ft Lewis.

Hopefully folks will read the forum but I will keep posting Larry's facts daily ...

Y'all are so right in all you say. I collect offerings (interesting things, I hope) throughout the year and then (procrastinate on) take(ing) pics and post(ing) for the auction each year; hoping to help through others donations to boost my own small efforts to help. AND I MUST get on the stick and "Git 'er done" - LOL. I always hope to add chances for those who feel they can't help, to get into the action along with those blessed angels who can, and do, carry the brunt of the donations. Please remember that every little bit helps, and like we couldn't help as much ass we do without our "angels", we also couldn't help as much without our "angels without so deep a pockets as some". Any thing/amount you can offer, bid on, donate as cash, or do to incite bids will help raise the grand total, and you will be surprised what a good feeling it will give you to know you did what you could.  

IT'S ALL FOR THE KIDS! (AND IT IS FUNNNNN)
