Bought an Orion several years ago with ACS LB CG limbs. Sad thing is I've barely been able to enjoy this bow as my son claimed it from the beginning... and he's enjoying it!
So... he's at college and I started playing around & re-tuning it, but not sure what the brace height should be and to where it should be measured. Appreciate any information.

Why not go to the source and email Mike @ Dryad?

Start at 7.25" and twist up from there

Various bows, but if you see me shooting, it's probably a Toelke in my hand!

Yup, I did go to Dryad - Mike was very gracious in his responses, but I wasn't sure about where to measure the brace height. He suggested at 7.25" at both ends of the riser... is this where the limbs meet the riser at both ends?
Thanks,
Randy

He told me 7.25 years ago and that's where I normally keep it, this string I have now doesn't seem to want to stretch below 7.5 and I can't tell the difference like I can on a recurve. Might untwist it a little

7.25" from the ends of the riser where the limbs leave is what I have read and used, I do use 0 tiller so the same on both ends. On the DAS riser I am using my xl acs longbow limbs and the brace measures 8.75" to the deepest part of the grip. Much less and the limbs get noodlely.

Being this is an Orion it's a bit easier.  The limbs like at least 7 1/4" at the end of the riser.
This is about a 7 1/2" BH to the depth of the grip.

With the ILF limbs you never know what the depth of the riser is but the limb position needs to be the same.

Thanks all - my challenge with brace height is that I'm not always sure where people are taking the measurement... seems to vary person-to-person. Appreciate the responses & clarification.

Guess I'll leave my string as is;-)

I need to correct my post a little, on the DAS 17" riser the limbs measure 7.5" at the riser ends giving the stated brace. They seem most stable and quiet there for me.

Can't say enough good things about those limbs. They are remarkable.
