I have a selway rawhide quiver and would like to make it darker in color. has anyone done this and what did you use?

Call Selway and ask them. That would be my suggestion.

I used shoe polish with good results. The liquid with sponge applicator.

tried the mink oil. little darker but want iit more brown then tan. Im going with Terry's suggestion and try the leather dye

I used Neetsfoot Oil to darken my back quiver. I'd heat it with a hair dryer, rub it in, heat, rub, etc. until it got the color I wanted. People use sunlight for the heating as well. Plus side is that it also treats the leather at the same time. Mink oil as RC suggested or similar oil would do the same.

I use Sno-Seal it is bees wax based and does not biodegrade the leather like Mink Oil.

When we dye our quivers we do it when they are wet before we mold them, we are offering a variety of different colors now, we may have something you'd be interested in. Please give us a call if you have any other questions . 734-856-4302
Here is an example in green.

I've had a Selway slide on quiver for years it stayed put and got the job done for all those years.  I still have it and it still in great shape I have yet to replace the foam in the hood.

Great product great quality for those that want to put a quiver on a bow and leave it there like I had for a designated bow.
