I shoot a 60 lb long bow. My woodies are an 80 lb spine 32 inch doug fir shaft with a 190 gr cutthroat BH. Total weight about 650gr. My carbons are a 32 inch GT 7595 with a 150 gr point adapter with a 200 gr Grizzly Kodiak BH. Total weight around 750 gr.

Biathlonman

I like about a 600 grain arrow off a low 50s pound bow.

Possumjon

Last year was carbon express heritage 150 shafts at 29 inches with 200 gr cutthroat broadheads out of a 45 pound 59 kodiak, total arrow weight of 525. This year will be a 46 pound wesley special with a 470 grain arrow, 250 grain cutthroat broadheads

This will be my first year hunting with a low(er) weight bow. I'm shooting a 42@28 Super Shrew, and settled on 29" Gold Tip Traditional 600's, with a 6" wrap, 4x4" feathers, 50 gr insert, and a 150 gr broadhead. Weigh out at 460 grs / 10.9 gpp / around 20% foc / & about 32.5 lbs ke (or whatever its called) -- All the math according to Stu's calc.

They fly great and I'm shooting as accurately as I ever have. Just did some broadhead testing tonight, and very happy. We'll see how the deers like them here in about 6 months.     :)

A subtle play on words is better than a poke in the eye.

Just over 10gpp for me off my 50# bows.

I like 9gpp for 3-D a little more if I was hunting

I'm shooting about 530 grains out of a 55 lb. bow.

Cyclic-Rivers

Usually my arrows fall into 550-700 Grains.  My hunting bow is 55 lbs.

I dont really pay attention to GPP as long as its over 9.  I never figured out FOC because frankly, its irrelevant if my arrows are flying good.

Shooting 54 pounds at 30'.  Arrows are 488grs, so right around 9gr per pound of draw weight.  Plenty for whitetails in the Midwest.
