Beaver balls or Otter fur which is better?

Where you put it on the string matters more that what kind of fur it is.

I like cat whiskers myself, but if I were still using fur I wouldn't have a preference.

Another option that you might want to consider are the wool scallops that Two Tracks sells. They are so easy to install and their silencing abilities are amazing.

I like the looks of the otter fur the best. I'm too deaf to tell a difference in the sound.
