We had to put down our beloved Shoey last Sept and have been resisting the urge to get a new pup. My wife and I melted when we saw these photos.

I have never seen a better dog around kids. You gotta love a Beagle!

I've been a Beagle man for over 50 years. There's no other kind of dog for me, I love em. I lost my last beagle Dolly last June, she had a bad heart and was only 10 when she passed. She was a great rabbit hunter and companion. She went everywhere with me and I really miss her

Before Huey, there was Hoback..the biggest chow hound ever, and another rabbit chaser par excellence. He lived to the ripe old age of 15.

Nice dogs......cutest pups ever!!

Makes me want another Beagle!!!!

I have one he is under the covers right now as am I.  He can open any door with any shape door knob.  We mostly have depressable thumb latches on the outside doors he can open that faster than I can and he knows which way each door opens he will pull or push appropriately.  He is also very vocal, not loud but talks a lot.  My friends are amazed.  I have almost killed him a time or 2 when he jumps out through the front of the moving ranger at the smell of a rabbit. Great dogs.

Good looking pup! You and your gang are in for years of fun . Females are less head-strong than males, especially after they're fixed, and that's no small thing in a beagle. I'd try to keep the table scraps to an absolute minimum...beagles live by their noses and that face is hard to turn down, but they tend to put on weight that goes un-noticed and even 5 extra pounds is a load on their joints and hearts.

I've adopted too many bows that needed a good home.

And on that note if it's a male avoid getting it fixed. Unless, you have to. We got our beagle fixed in hopes it would calm him down and keep him from barking too much. Well it changed nothing. But he has put on weight. Come to think of it I put on some, weight since my vicectomy too. Hmmmm.

Too funny Mr. Fingers     :biglaugh:

23...with the way shes tucked in under your arm and the look on your boys face I believe Bianca has found a great home.

Well that didn't take long! You guys started posting puppy pictures and we just had to go get one for ourselves.

She's a pure bred Amish female so we named her Esther.  :)

It's been six months since we had to put down our Shoey and have been discussing getting another beagle ever since.

My four granddaughters almost came unglued when they saw her today. You gotta love a beagle!

Posting pictures is beyond my skill set.

We just had a celebration. She pooped outside instead of beside my bed! Wahoo!

My first dog was a Beagle.

Used to take her around the paper route on my bike.

Great, friendly dogs.

Never could figure out how to make her come when I whistled.

Stubborn, someone mentioned....
