Ron, I think I lost that pic of you in a computer crash.
I have outgrown pinup guys, anyway.
I have pinup arrows now.    :D

You notice how Howard got his elbow down and lowered his anchor so we could drool over his beautiful face?
What a lens hound!

But he's MY lens hound!     :bigsmyl:

That last photo is probaly his trick shot, where he shoots an arrow up and then shoots that arrow when it comes down....
   Anyone tried that shot yet....

EZPZ.
Shoot the first, split it with a second arrow as it returns, flip quiver up and the second arrow drops right in. Piece of cake.

Killy these guys are so way off when it comes to understanding you...lol

I think there's more than room enough in your heart for multiple "pin-up" guys.

Why limit yourself right?  So many men.... and so little time and.....so little Killy and so underestimated!!

God bless,Mudd

Seems to be a bit more Killy every year...

The one thing I love about this site is no one's a stranger . You won't find no "clicks" on here.

I didn't know my "pinup post" would be taken with sarcasm. It was meant with kind intentions. I apologise Killey.  Bye now.

Just can't figure out for the life of me why Killy wouldn't want a Pin-up of Ron donning one of Mudds hats ,completely done up in green, real, tights, proudly embracing a ShrewHill,MAN to die For!

Oh my... Not to distract this thread from its current discussion, but I got a very interesting Tembo, (that I ordered on July 26th), two days ago. My requested draw weight, (45# @ 26"), was right on the money.

It is a straight gripped, dark bamboo, 66", string follow--but I ordered it with a 12" riser, rather than the 14" riser I enjoy on a very, very similar 66", string follow, Wesley Special. Also, the limbs do not exceed 1" in width at the fade outs, so they are slightly narrower and thicker than the Wesley.

Craig did an outstanding job, and tried to address every single nuance of what I ordered. I love this bow--and will try to send photographs when I am smart enough--but I wanted to give a shout-out to Nate, as many of his specific suggestions were incorporated into its design.

There is definitely something to this riser length discussion.... The limbs are drawing a little differently, maybe working a little differently. Very smooth; very forgiving.

I am still messing with brace height. The recommended brace height for this 66" bow is 6 and 1/4", I believe, but I think this bow wants a lower brace height.

I love my pair of Wesleys, (one string follow, one back set), but after just a few practice sessions, I feel the Tembo will be my "go-to" bow for the Hill Gang Hog Hunt. I hope this riser length observation is potentially useful.

Now, let us return to our regularly scheduled program....

Be well,
Bob Wilson

I hope nobody is feeling unhappy about my kidding around with the pinup stuff. I come on here to cop a grin.

I second the request for bow pics!

I recently bought a used Redman 70in. 41# at my 30in. draw. Shooting 425 gr. arrow with a 2 blade broadhead. Is this enough bow for whitetail? It's so much fun to shoot I haven't picked up my ILF recurve since I bought it.  Thanks
