This is one of my favorites, if you look close enough you can see the 160g STOS in that stiff stump! I gave up on foam a while go, with the money I saved, by not replacing the $75-100 targets, I went C/Convex. The SplitBamboo looks exactly  the same, but when you release one.......   Howard's 84# was over 180fps, with his #90 cedars wearing 150g's, no glass. With glass they were over 185fps. Not bad for a 28" draw and "Hunting" weight shafts.

Bill Turner

I was beginning to feel sorry for "Ric O'Shay" cause I know he is excited about getting his David Miller bow. Even thought about lending him one of my Hill's so he'll have a bow to shoot at this weekends Texas Longbow Championship in Ft. Worth. Course he probably has to much pride to accept my offer. Sure would hate for him to miss that shoot cause he can't lay his hands on a decent bow.  :banghead:

Well no luck with the pigs they sent out turkeys to torment me. I might try my luck this weekend at a 3d shoot in Akien SC

Bill -

While I do really appreciate your most sincere concern for my bow situation, I assure you that either my Tembo or Union Jack is well up to this weekend's challenge.     :bigsmyl:

Oops! I hope Bonnie doesn't see that I let the cat out of the bag. Sorry Bill.    :biglaugh:

Danny if you and Bill don't cut it out I might come down with HH fever.

I don't have the resources for one right now but neither do I own one at the moment.(poor, poor me!)..lol

Very Nice, I like!  I can't make out the concave/convex lam, is it actually concaved?

Mr. Mudd -

I truly regret to be the one to bring you such news, but the simple fact remains, your are still hanging around the HH thread. This only goes to prove that you still have the fever. It is only temporarily in remission.....   :jumper:

Sorry for the small pic. this is the back, the belly lam is flat, on the belly, still c/c inside.

That is a Howard Hill Archery "stiff" model.

Everytime I see swamp's bow, I'm tempted to make the call.  Wonder what the wait time is?  Would it be long enough to properly prepare my lovely wife for the arrival such that I'd still have a lovely wife?  It's tempting.  But it's also like playing with matches in a grain silo....

Ric,  Thanks for the update on the Miller bamboo shipment.  I have a Hawk on order too and was supposed to be a May delivery.  Proverbial "slow boat from China (or where ever)."

Someday... certainly can't and won't blame David.  He certainly ordered far enough ahead of time.  Waiting will just make it sweeter still.   :banghead:    :archer:

I guess I'll start watching the classifieds again...lol

My small herd seems a little incomplete without a "Sheldon" and true "HH" bow.

It may take a year or two but I think I've got the time.
