We have great news!  Tom saw the surgeon this morning and he has released him!  Tom has lost 36 lbs....mostly water weight that was around his heart...they said that in 2 weeks he can try shooting a bow...if it hurts...to stop wait 4 or 5 days and then try again.  They also say he will feel 30 years younger in about a year!  right now he looks about 20 years younger.  He still has the white head of hair though!   :)

That is wonderful news! I hope that he's gonna follow the Dr's instructions and get back enjoying the good things in life like shooting bows and hunting. Prayers realy do work!

Great news! Keep an eye on him! If he is anything like most of us (men), he may try to push himself a bit harder than he should. After all, we are talking about shootin' bows! God Bless-Mike

Praise God! We been busy round here Dina, but have kept Tom in our prayers since we heard about it back in Nov. Sorry I never sent the books...think he'd still want to read em? If so, pm your address.....

And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.
