Nate Steen .

Dave,

here's a photo of my "White Eagle" bow model...on right.

wonder where I got my inspiration?  hhhmmmm...

Nate.

Nate,Those bows are simply stunning,God I'd hate to wait in line for one of those,I envision to many sleepless nights! So well done and so reminisent of the Golden years.

Okie man

Those are beautiful bows. I have pics of Nate's bows saved on my computer. Something about Hill style bows, back quivers, and wood arrows that make me break into a sweat. That and the 110 degree heat here.
The white glass on your White Eagle model is so classey but the antique finish is nice too.

Just awesomely classic Nate!

I am in love with your ivory color for the belly of the bow.

I think a bow with an ivory belly would be a weapon that would be drawn to elk. (Ivory draws in ivory.)

Someday!!

Does anyone know what plastic arrow nocks Howard Hill used?  Did he shoot Stotler nocks?  Any photos of his actual arrows?

Well, I posted a note to Ron LaClair on the thread about losing his bow at Denton Hill about just selling me that ShrewHill he just had built, and by golly, he sent me an e-mail and guess what's headed to my house Monday?  "Alpha"...number 1 ShrewHill ever built.

Who'da thought of just coming right out and asking to buy it like that?  Should it not work out for you, I would be glad to take it off your hands.   :saywhat:

sou-pawbowhunter, I thought it would be just a joke, that there was no way!  He responded with an e-mail and told me it was in fact for sale and he was getting ready to put it on his web site if I wanted it.  Just hit things right, I guess.

True-that.  Seriously though, good for you.  That is a treasure and I'm sure it will be appreciated in your hands.

Great bow, I love that one. I feel, the longbows design will go back to simple and straight!  An that's a good way...  ;)

Dragonheart, as far as I know, Howard Hill used Stotler nocks. I have some left, they are great, but you have to file the groove for fitting on the string, for me, they don't stay on string too good, not like Mercury or similar nocks...but I use them because Mr. Hill used them.... ;)

bicster

What a score David! I would like to get together with you sometime and see your collection.

David Mitchell

Bic, that would be fine.  Whenever you are coming this way give me a shout and we'll get together.
