The first ShrewHill is out of the box. If everything goes right I'll be taking it with me to Denton Hill next week...     :archer:

Rik,  beautiful bow,  congrats....I had an inkling something was in the works.  After working so hard to get the boo/wood combo right,  I can't see you putting paint or bowquivers on that one... :)

Ben, mate...if you ever come out to Idaho to hunt elk....er, I mean grouse   ;)  don't worry about bringing a bow..... ;)   ;)

Mudd,  good to see you up and around and posting....yeah,  my garden is thick with growing green things... ;)

Pitchers, Ron....we want pitchers!!!!

As soon as shes ready David, I'll post a picture. In the mean time the name "ShrewHill" is after a place near my hunting camp "ShrewHaven" in the U P that I call Shrew hill. It's a spot that overlooks the Brule river which is the Michigan/Wisconsin border. It's my favorite place on our 480 acres of land to spend time....dream and imagine the dugouts and birchbark canoes that have floated down that stretch or river many years ago when it was truly a wilderness.

He's that good!  Don't ever challege Nate to anything, including shooting his longbow.     :bigsmyl:

Oh this is going to be fun!

Now don't make us wait on photos like some people do. That would just be cruel.

At first glance, you would think, "Oh! That's a Howard Hill Cheetah!"

Not so. I had Craig do this instead...

One of my favorite dogs passed away on Christmas morning last year. We called him Pond Bear and I thought this would be a neat way to carry on his spirit. The bear paw inlay is from the "Bear" in Pond Bear. I saw the inlay on one of Raging Waters bows and emailed Craig right away.

The finish Craig puts on is awesome. That kind of textured matte. Love it.

It's my quietest bow without silencers even on the string, and I can't wait to tune it and see what kind of groups I can get...

It did come in 3 pounds heavier than I order which makes a perfect 53#'s at my 28 in. draw.

Don't know if you can tell but I'm so excited about this bow I really think I could pee my pants...

Thanks to all that helped me along the way.

Edit: Fergot to mention, I found it kind of funny that the tips of my bow were padded with ads from Bear Archery. Showing off all of their "cool" bows!

Now, now, K. M., just take a deep breath and it'll be OK.  Heck, mam, can't blame you....I've had several of those long skinny boxes from Hamilton, MT show up at my house.  Gorgeous bow!    You and Rik make we want to pick up the phone for a little chat with Craig again.....must...resist.  :banghead:

Great bow, KM, and good way to honour your dog.

Ron, I am intrigued by this new bow of yours, and am looking-forward to the pictures.

KM,  I'm afraid to inform you that you are hopelessly bitten.  long-term prognosis isn't looking too good either.  There is no recovery.  The only way to keep the inflammatory bug in remission is to appease it once in awhile with a new HH purchase.  I'm sorry to tell you this, but someone had to let you know.

Next thing you know,  you'll be running around in jeans and plaid shirts, carrying woodies in a backquiver...Oh well,  don't say you weren't warned....  :help:
