this bow has no markings and hoping someone will recognize it,, it shoots like an expensive bow very smooth draw and pretty fast bow.

Just a guess by maybe a Root? Anybody else?
The scent of Autumn is like food to the hunters soul.

thanks Hatrick,,, should of gave more details the actual string length is 59",,, it has green glass on the back and belly that looks like a weave type glass like you see on the old orange glassed bears.  other than that I'm not sure.

when I got it the riser was painted camo and had hockey tape over some sort of fabric around the grip where I think they tried to build up the grip,,,, the grip is small I guess like a baraga grip without the palm swell.

the limb tips are the fat and flat type like on a palmer or the top limb of a bear.

I have a Sanders Oneida that is identical. The Sanders has decals on the belly top and bottom limbs. Rod

Blackhawk

That could be it...made in NY in the mid-late 50's, right?

the bow shoots really nice,, honestly I have  browning's and bears and this thing shoots better it has a very smooth draw.   the grip is nice but what feels different that all bows I have shot is the way the shelf comes back and lays over the back of your hand.

Roddo I will send you my e-mail thanks

Rod I got the pics on my phone and Monday at work I will be able to see them much bigger but I think this is the same bow!

Sanders Oneida,, there isn't much info anywhere on this bow I keep getting that Oneida compound if its even called that but your bow is identical.

a question about the grip,,,, do you know if that's the original grip cover on yours and if so do you know if it has a padded material under it?  I remember refinishing my bow there was a padded material over the wood that was kind of glued to the wood but it was old.

Ted The Grip is orriginal. It never had an arrow rest on. it Looks to have been shot a dozen times at most. The Specs are 40# 60in #4243. Hope this Helps. Rod

my wife says it doesn't match I think its the closest I've seen.  she pointed out my grip is dished and yours swelled and under the side and back of the shelf on mine its curved right up from the grip to the under edge of the back the shelf on yours still has a lot of wood under it,,,, I think someone took a file to mine.
