I am looking at purchasing some Easton Tribute shafts. You have to order your nocks separately. What is a good nock choice for these arrows. Also does anyone shoot these. How is the quality. They seem to get decent reviews, but I would like to here real experience.  I am looking at either 2016 or 1916 out of my Bob Lee Hunter 45@28. Drawing 28"

I've shot the 2016 with AAE Z nocks without issue.  Don't forget inserts too, most places sell them separately.

Bohning classic nocks. Like the index which allows you to quickly feel which way the arrow is positioned based on how you glue it (cock feather out/in etc) without looking. Shooting 2016 500 spine out of 45 pound Super Kodiak at 30 inch draw and the quality seems fine to me. They fly slightly weak only when bare shafting out to 20 yards and very true when fletched. I have done lots of shooting and have had just one bend. Happy shooting!

I shoot them out of my Blacktail Sitka and they perform great. But, they are aluminum and they will bend. Take my word for it. Overall,  you get a good bang for your buck.

Forgot to add that fletching with Fletch Tite Platinum didn't work out very well. Most eventually came off. This after cleaning completely with isopropyl alcohol. I think the finish on Tributes is much too slick. I refletched with the Fletch Tite but this time roughed up the shaft with a fine grit sandpaper and then wiped with the alcohol. So far so good.

I have found it is usually more cost effective to just buy camo hunters.  As they come with Nocks and inserts. Unless your set on the tributes color scheme etc.

I looked on the Easton Hunting site, And I could not find the Tribute.

5/16" Mercury Speed nocks are nice for the 2016's. Nock choice also depends on the center serving on your bowstring too (nock fit).

Try lacquer thinner. Rub fletching area on shaft until squeaky clean.

I came across a thread that stated that there were problems with early batches of fletch-tite platinum.  Don't recall the lot number where it "started to work," but it was something like "340" or "420".  The lots below "that lot number" were problematic, and lots above it- were evidently "good.". Don't know if it's true or not. Just reporting what I read.

I DO use fletch-tite platinum, and use lacquer thinner prep on my Tributes. Haven't lost a single feather. Don't know the lot number-never looked.

Thread with the lot number break point was on one of the trad sites in the past month or two (maybe this site?, or ***********, tradtalk, or the trad section on archerytalk)

I've used AAE nocks, no problems.  I also found some Easton Game Getter 500 shafts for a good price. They come with g nocks, and inserts for something like $38/dozen. Replaces my Easton Tribute 2016 shafts. Can't remember exact source...possibly bowhuntersuperstore.com?
