I just had to tell somebody! I just turned in my order for a new Dwyer Defiant. It's been years since I shot Taditional (been hunting compound for years) and I feel like I've made it home. I am pretty excited about it and the Dwyers are nice folks too. Now for the wait.

Thanks Eric. It's a chance to put my money where my proverbial mouth is. Folks buy Custom Knives from me and I would like to carry a truly Custom bow. You dont have to order a knife from me to stop in a say hi.

       I got a near basic package, but upgraded to Bamboo core. The riser is Cocobolo and the limbs are Ash stained a honey color. It's the loger version of Defiant in 62 inch. It's going to be my hunting bow. How'd I do in wood choice? It's not built yet.       Lin

Can't go wrong with Dwyer.  I'm a sucker for a nice piece of Cocobolo.  I'd like to see some pics of Ash limbs if any one has some.  The waiting is tough, especially when you get the call that its shipped and you're as excited as a kid on Christmas Eve.
