Our goat season opens up Feb 1st and we can't wait to get out again!!!

In anticipation, I've been watching an old video of Staci chasing public land goats on the west end of our island.

Many of you have seen this video already, but for those who haven't and are interested, here's the link.

Hey Ryan!  I am looking forward to it too!  Great vid. I have a real nice zebra wood Griz (thanks to Cyclic-Rivers)  that I need to get some action with.  If you want some company give me a call!  I will be there on the 1st or 2nd either way!

Yours,

Thanks Charlie!

Sounds good Mike. I'll give you a buzz if Staci can't go.

Good luck Ryan. I lived in the mountains above Pearl City for a few years when I was in Uncle Sams canoe club and shot a few hogs but never hunted goats. P.S. Thanks for the string making video. Liked it a lot.

Thank you Bisch and Jake!

That's cool John. My parents had a house near Waiau El and later moved to Newtown. There was a bunch of pigs in those hills before.

Glad you liked the string building video!

Aloha Guys!      :shaka:

Looking forward to watching your hunt and pictures of that far away place, thanks.

Good luck Ryan.  I watched the video of  Staci's hunt.  Well done.  Made me want to get out in the woods with my longbow.

Ryan, Quite a physical hunt, I really respect Staci. Also the stalks look very hard, with winds being what they are in those mountains, also the amount of cover for those goats.
Are goats good eating?
Have a great season....

Thank you for all the kind words Gang!

Not to brag Joe, but it's currently in the 80's

Frank, we enjoy eating the goats. Here's an image of my favorite way to prepare them. Hot smoked.
