Cabelas Berber fleece... Wore it in the Edmonton Bow Zone in Alberta in -20f. Good stuff. Never got close to being cold.

Theresa Asbel makes wind blocking vests for under layers.

It just tickles the beejeepers out of me to see someone else get it.  All the fluffy stuffy wooly pully clothing out there is worthless on a windy day with out a way to stop that breeze from sucking away the heated layer.

One thing that works quite well is to wear one of the light weight camo rain suits over your insulated gear.  Virtually stops all wind.

Another product that does a great job is the windproof camo fleece products by Natural Gear.

Or you can go pricier and get the Grey Wolf Wolfhide gear.  It is awesome stuff.

X3 on the Sitka Fanatic Series. The Gore windstopper material used in the Fanatic series is absolutely incredible.

Most of these jackets are too noisy for bowhunting.

I have higher end lightweight mountain hardwear rain gear I put under my Berber for an extra wind blocking later of need be.

Not many here deal with as much wind as I do....and I wear Kuiu.   You can buy insulated layers to wear beneath your Guide clothes from Kuiu.   If you want to go "cheap"...like I do often enough, buy a primaloft pullover from Cabelas or a lightweight down jacket to wear beneath your Kuiu.  My boys wear army surplus pant liners and down.  

When temps get real cold, we do wool, or even wool with primaloft or down beneath.  You really need that windstopper or nylon layer to break that wind.

I really like my wind blocker from Asbell's.
It's not fancy but it works really well.
It's nicely oversized so you can put it toward the outside of the layers.

I have sleeping indian wool , king of the mountain wool , and hands down the warmest windproof clothing i have ever owned is Sitka Whitetail Fanatic it is incredible ! Quite , light weight, moth resistant. I wore it this season with just a cotton tee shirt at 17 degrees with 20 mph north wind and I was toasty for over 4 hours .

I know this post is over but throwing what I wear out there too. I wear Windstopper Sitka stratus bibs and jacket and when it gets really cold I throw an army issue fleece liner jacket under it. I never get cold down to zero at least.

The lined jogging pants and jacket work great. the wind does not go through it and it is very light. I use it for a under layer.

I really like my Sitka Stratus jacket for its wind cutting ability, and soft exterior made for Bowhunting.  I also own a Kuhl jacket for everyday use, including working outside.  Awesome at cutting wind, but not so quiet, and also not to breathable.
