Anyone know where I can order some of the old type HTM black rubber blunts with the straight hole inside?  NOT interested in the ones with the tapered hole inside, and not interested in alternatives -just the old school black ones.

Thanks for the help!

How many are you looking for?  I found 6 laying around.

Thanks for the replies.  I saw the one on Big Jims, those are something different from the old HTM's, I will probably call some folks, but really looking for the old HTM's - anyone else?

Hermon, thanks for the offer - I'm looking to get several dozen for myself and my buddy in Montana/his son.

In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

I just got an email from Bowhunters Superstore in Wellsville PA They show a blunt that looks from the pictures identical to the old HTM. Worth a look.

Try the Footed Shaft .I bought some from them a couple of years ago . I use them a lot, I even bought some 5/16 for my grandsons arrows .

If you want to get the 11/32 HTM to really pack some punch, hot glue a nickel to the front.  The nickel will add a hair over 77 grains to it,  making it come to nearly 200 grains.  You may need to either shorten your wood shaft an inch or go up a spine bracket.

The ones I got from The Footed shaft didn't look like that they were the ones like 3 rivers has . I'm 63 and I used rubber blunts when I was a kid !! I always carry some when I go on trips . If theres a lot of rocks around I switch from my judo head.

Last I knew I had a couple hundred of them here at Lost Nation Archery.  We have a supplier who is reasonable but very hard to contact.  They never answer the phone.  Hopefully I can get some pictures for you tomorrow.

Thanks guys, have some on order.  FYI - the ones that three rivers has that they call bunny busters were ones a buddy of mine had that were tapered inside - like to slide over a tapered wood arrow - I don't know who came up with that idea, but it doesn't take a genius to figure out a tapered arrow would punch thru the rubber on the second shot or so....

Looks like otherwise mainly the bearpaw copies are out there, and a very few real HTM's - I don't know if HTM quit making them or if bearpaw just underpriced them.

Again thanks for the info
