Born in the 50's but I'm a child of the 60's era one-piece recurves.

Life's about balance.
I'll always be true to my wife but when it comes to bows I'm admittedly sleazy.    :dunno:

I like different types of bows. I own a recurve, aggressive r/d longbow, have a static recurve coming shortly, and I've got a bad itch for a mild r/d longbow.

I've been shooting sticks for about 60 years and have come full circle two or three times-- self bows, longbows, hybrids, recurves.  Always have a few of each on my rack, but it's been mostly longbows/hybrids the last 20 years or so.  That being said, I do use  a short recurve for turkey hunting out of a blind.

I have tried a few longbows, but always find I shoot recurves, particularly 60" recurves better.

I think I am done experimenting now.  I have two I really like . A Blacktail and a couple of Tall tines.

I have been shooting 66" R/D longbows for the last couple years.

Joe2Crow

Unfortunately, I like a lot of different styles so I never get great with one in particular. Fun though.

Recurves for me. Haven't shot a longbow yet that interested me.

I like them all, but straight limb & mild D/R longbows are the only ones I like enough to spend money on. Still wanting to take a swing at self/lam-wood bows when free time & spare money coincide.

I've owned and shot every type of bow and enjoy shooting them all.

I even enjoy shooting the evil compound from time to time. Lol.

I just like to shoot. Doesn't really matter what it is

That's me in a nut shell........seems I like long ones the best.

I like all bows also. But I do turn off as soon as the bow is to heavy to draw or stacks at my draw. Also the grip is the next thing that turns me on or off. If it doesn't fit then I quit. Last is in the past years I have found most bows with carbon or center cores that add performance just don't do it for me. Some do if the bowyer does it right. And some just vibrate a little different than I like. I am sure it is a personal thing, but I like milder shooting bows. I don't like finger pinch either.

Sam McMichael

I primarily shoot my Hill style bows. I also have a couple of R/D that I shoot as well. My recurves no longer know what the outdoors looks like.

I have finally settled on R/D longbows. I really like the 3PC Slammer and A&H. Both shoot well for me.

TD D/R longbow 64" with a more recurve grip. Has everything I want or need.

Quick, quiet,no stringer needed ,shoots better than I can.
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Bowwild

Recurves only. Have a couple 1-piece but I like the extra heft of the 3 piece. Like lots of wood in the riser (not bulky but not 50's style either).

Bowhunter4life

Used to be just short R/D longbows and recurves, but I kind of got the Hill bug...  Found a used 68" Hill "Custom" bow that has been keeping my interest here lately...
