Are you a recurve guy, Longbow type or do you like many styles? I find myself liking just about all types R/D longbows, recurves and lately I'm really getting into Hill style longbows. Is your focus narrow or wide open????    :dunno:
In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

Mainly longbows, both D/R and ASL.  But I am not against shooting a recurve on occasion.

I shoot anything that's got a string. I like them all

Wide open.

I own more ASL style than anything but that's because I build them.

I also have, and like to shoot, D/R, recurves, static recurve and self bows.

I have no problem switching up and seem to easily fall in whatever the style.  However, when big game season approaches, it is time to choose one and stay with it through the season.

I'm stuck on the shorter R/D longbows. I have a couple of 56" Toelke Pika and Centaur dark matter longbows. So light, so handy in a treestand. I limit my shots to 25 yards, and these choices work great for me.

I have and shoot R/D longbows, Bear TD, Bear SK and ILF recurves. A couple of the risers are made from old compound risers.

I like and own them all but favor recurves, especially Older Bears.

I like and enjoy all kinds but my mainstays are r/d and hybrid longbows.  I am also a sucker for selfies.

Started shooting recurves, and stayed with them for many years, mid 90's I discovered longbows, specifically R/D longbows, and shot both. I like Hill bows but could never dedicate the time to learn to shoot them well, now that I have the time I am liking the Hills more than ever.
I still shoot them all and enjoy each one.

I am an R/D longbow guy. Specifically, a Sarrels Blueridge takedown longbow. It has been my main go-to bow since 2009. I have a recurve and selfbow that I just shoot in 3D shoots. 90% of all my hunting is done with my Blueridge.

I will also add that I do not like owning a bow that does not hunt, so any bow I get I hunt with a little, at least till I get some blood on it!

I never met a recurve I didn't like!!  I've owned Hills, Shrews and Thundersticks. I've shot them well, but I just love recurves. The way they feel, the way they shoot. That's what makes Trad bowhunting so great, there's something for everybody!!

I like R/D longbows. I've been shooting an A&H ACS since about 2008 and do 95% of my bowhunting with it.

I met one ASL style that beat me up pretty badly. I sold that one before really trying to tune it up with a different string, playing with brace height, etc. Since then, I've acquired at least one of everything and love 'em all.

I sell bows so I can buy new ones and try them, but I really have liked nearly all I've sold. If that powerball number came up, I'd probably never sell another bow, but I'd sure keep buying as many different bows as possible.

I'm pretty narrowed down to only recurves and aggressive r/d longbows

Like them all but with that said give me a 52-60 in. 47-55@28 3 pc. recurve or 58-62 in. R/D longbow and I'm happy.

I prefer R/D Longbows and Selfbows, never have owned a recurve but there's just something about a laminated recurve I just don't like
